Network Engineer - Cisco - SC Cleared

Network Engineer, Cisco, Government, SC Clearance, 

We are currently looking for a Network Engineer to join our government client on a long-term contract.

• Clearance: SC Clearance - Must be happy to go through a DV Clearance 
• Location: Sites around the West Midlands - Please note this role will be onsite 5 days a week.
• IR35: Inside IR35 - You will be required to work through an Umbrella Solution

Key Skills and experiences required:

• Either Cisco Certified DevNet Professional certification or CCNP Enterprise certification 
• At least 3 years of experience supporting complex campus area networks (CAN) and wide area networks (WAN) based on IP cryptography
• Experience with the configuration of SDN controllers and SD-WAN controllers
• The experience of using Ansible to automate query or configuration of network devices in a production environment
• Experience with Linux OS and its command line interface, network logging and analysis tools – R Syslog and the interpretation and parsing of logs in particular
• Familiar with Splunk as a network support enhancer – possess the ability to search and navigate as well as create reports, alerts, and dashboards
