Release manager, Release, Environments, manager
We are currently looking for a Release & Environments Manager to join our client on a fully remote basis.
IR35 - This role falls inside of IR35 and will require you to work through an umbrella solution.
As the Release and Environments Manager, you will own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, co-ordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios. The releases will be inclusive of application updates/upgrades, operating system patches, security improvements, o/s upgrades, Projects and Programs.
Key Skills required- 3- 5 years of Release and/or project management experience
- 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
- Proven experience in the use of automation and orchestration tooling for the deployment of software releases
- Proven experience in managing transition to more automated deployments / CICD / Dev Ops processes
- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Proven ability to co-ordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
