We are currently looking for a Network Engineer to join our client in Central London
IR35 - This role falls inside of IR35
Clearance - We require someone with an active SC clearance or someone who is eligible to obtain an SC Clearance
Some out-of-hours work (evening/weekend) may be required to deploy changes.
As the Network Engineer, your role will consist of a mixture of BAU and Project delivery.
Strong technical knowledge of multi vendor network technologies, coupled with high level knowledge and experience of core networking technologies in enterprise-level deployments.
Key skills- Hands-on experience at an enterprise level with Cisco Switching and Routing, CheckPoint Firewall and Cisco Firepower backed up with vendor certification.
- Any experience of Azure networking and Fortinet proxy would be beneficial.
- Experience working on secure (IL3) networks would be advantageous.
- Experience to troubleshoot complex, technical, multi-site, multi-discipline incidents and problems
- Hands on experience of firewall and security configuration and management
- Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint Firewall
- Troubleshooting skills in core LAN technologies - Spanning tree and routers (OSPF, EIOGRP, BGP
