In your new role you will be:
● Understanding the end user and turning research into ideas.
● Taking part in discovery, workshop and co-design sessions with customers and colleagues.
● Designing workflows and detailed interactions that brings the experience to life.
● Validating designs with our users
● Thinking conceptually, as well as obsessing over the detail.
● Work closely with engineers as they build and release.
● Conceptualizing original ideas to meet user and business needs.
● Lots of sketching (out ideas).
● Defining interaction models, task flows and screen designs.
● Creating prototypes and conducting concept & usability testing to validate ideas.
● Making use of available analytical reports & session recordings to identify opportunities to improve the experience.
● Finding creative ways to optimise user journeys.
● Communicating design ideas and prototypes to developers.
To be considered for this role you should have:
● The unristricted right to work in the UK
●Experience across end-to-end (UX and UI) product design, delivering amazing digital products.
● A broad set of design skills across all aspects of the design from research, human-centred design, prototyping, to visualization.
● Experience in diagramming, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma.
● Experience working with lean principles in an Agile environment.
● A naturally curious mindset.
● A drive to keep up with the emerging digital trends and culture.
● A background in consumer-focused financial services is useful but not essential.
