We are currently looking for a Network Engineer to join our client in Hertfordshire for an initial 5 month contract.
As the Network Engineer you will have a strong technical knowledge of multi vendor network technologies, ideally gained from hands on technical support roles, coupled with high level knowledge and experience of core networking technologies in enterprise level deployments.
Key skills required:- Experience to troubleshoot complex, technical, multi-site, multi-discipline incidents and problems
- Hands on experience of firewall and security configuration and management
- Experience of working within a Cisco routing/switching environment
- Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint Firewall
- Troubleshooting skills in core LAN technologies - Spanning tree and routers (OSPF, EIOGRP, BGP
