Talent and Events Coordinator - Talent Cooridnator - Events Coordinator
Monarch Recruitment are working with a global broadcasting and media company based in London who are looking to appoint a Training and Events Coordinator on a 3 month contract basis - Pay up to £19.50 per hour - Based in London.
We are looking for Training and Events Coordinator to assist the Senior Events Producer with the delivery of internal and external events, similar to delivering training and seminars. They also have a new induction and on boarding programme to be rolled out, which you will also be apart of.
Duties - Events:- Raising Purchase Orders – Connect with vendor to get invoice for the accounts team and make sure payment is processed on time ahead of event
- Book event space/meeting rooms
- Order items from preferred suppliers to relevant address
- Book couriers
- Book catering
- Manage response of company representatives, coordinate rotas/schedules
- On site support – Set up/ De-rig
- Event lead (on site only) – point of contact for Event Producer, couriers and company representatives
- Social media post and advertisements
- Promote event/management of ticketing (e.g. Eventbrite)
- Create content for event display (slides, logos)
- Be available to travel across regions
Duties - Training Coordinator- Map out training plans, design and develop training programs (outsourced or in-house)
- Choose appropriate training methods per case (simulations, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes etc)
- Market available training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information
- Conduct organisation wide needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
- Use accepted education principles and track new training methods and techniques
- Design and prepare educational aids and materials
- Assess instructional effectiveness and summarise evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPIs
- Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
- Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
- Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
