I am currently looking for a Service Transition Manager to join our public sector client on a remote basis.- Role: Service Transition Manager
- Location: Remote – with occasional travel to London
- Duration: 10 Months
As the service transition manager, you will be providing direct support into the various delivery projects, aligning processes, and co-ordinating the required resources and stakeholders where required.
The role will also work with incumbent suppliers to ensure the graceful retirement and decommissioning of existing services.- Has in depth understanding of service management framework principles and processes and has significant experience of applying this knowledge within a complex operational customer service delivery context
- Proven success managing complex organisational wide IT projects.
- Certified expert in a recognised project management methodology, e.g. PRINCE2
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods
- Service management framework knowledge.
- Service focus. You can maintain focus on the entire life cycle of the service and ensure it’s at the forefront of readiness activities.
- Technical understanding. You can understand the core technical concepts related to the role and apply them with guidance.
