We are currently looking for an Application Tester to join our client on a 6 month initial contract.
Location: London – 2/3 days a week in the office/Hybrid working
Duration: 6 Months
Start: ASAP
IR35 Status: Inside
As the Application Tester you will be testing the clients’ applications which have been developed mostly by using MS.NET C# on SQL Server or Oracle database by SDLC procedures.
You will define test schedules against about 40 applications where many related application enhancements/maintenance projects are running simultaneously. You will be identifying the business requirements including generating the Test plan, writing and executing Test Cases and performing functional and non-functional testing, and creating and managing defect logs
Good experience with .Net Framework is essential.
Key Skills and experiences:- Experience of .NET Visual C# development on MS SQL Server and Oracle Database.
- Extensive experience of .Windows application development.
- Understanding of MS .NET Framework environments.
- Understanding of the concept of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Understanding of Object Orientated programming style.
- Strong interest in Finance and Accounting.
This is a position is working within a financial organisation, it would be highly advantageous that you have strong interest in financial figures alongside the application testing.
