Business Analyst

Business Analyst, Analysis, Government, Transport, Outside IR35

We are currently working with a large government client who are looking for a Business Analyst to join them on a 3 year contract.

IR35: OUTSIDE
Location: Hybrid working – 2 days a week in London Office
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 Years with option of extension


As the Business Analyst you will hold expert knowledge of defining and capturing required stakeholder requirements and detailing these requirements out for the authorisation and agreement by stakeholders and the Authority.

You will work with others as necessary within the project including the Solution Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Developers as well as other stakeholders to establish an optimal solution which meets requirements requires and adheres to any technical strategy/constraints.

Key Skills/Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of Business Analysis techniques, tools and processes
• Good awareness of current developments in IT, Public Transport and Payments industries
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE 2 )
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile and Waterfall)

• Elicitation and documentation of requirements (particularly reporting requirements) through a range of appropriate techniques
• Manage and track ongoing changes to requirements, using agreed change control processes where required.
