Solution Architect, Architecture, Contract, Outside ir35
We are currently looking for a Solution Architect to join one of our clients within the transportation industry on a long-term contract.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 2-3 Years
Location: Hybrid – Remote/2 days a week in London
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
As the Solution Architect you will be responsible for the project level architecture design for the client’s solution developments. The Solution Architect will communicate the proposed architecture within the project and gain project approval from the teams.- Strong solution architecture skills in architecting business components across software, infrastructure and networks.
- Ability to take a loose set of requirements and build a high level architecture using UML. Refining the architecture as more information is discovered, decisions identified and choices are made.
- Proven ability to analyse complex components, identify decision points, draw conclusions and produce architecture roadmaps.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people within the delivery team including project managers, business analysts, developers, and testers.
- Experience of designing business applications.
- Understanding of the non functional requirements such as reliability, scalability, performance and resilience.
- Proven experience of designing software within an overall agile development process.
- Familiar with some of the tools and techniques used: Sparx Systems, Enterprise Architecture/Visio, UML, Service Orientated Architecture
