Our consultancy client are looking for an experienced payments solution architect to work on a major programme for a high street bank. The programme is currently looking at the re-platforming of their payments architecture moving to a cloud based system able to handle ISO20022 across all payment schemes.
They are looking for someone with a strong architectural background with a proven track record of applying architectural rigour and an analytical approach to solving business and technical challenges. You will have knowledge and experience of domain, event driven design – Should be able to demonstrate practical knowledge, experience, and understanding of the key design approaches & challenges associated with implementing these patterns in an enterprise organisation as well as extensive experience and knowledge on microservice architecture and patterns (i.e. SAGA, service discovery). Also understanding of infrastructure elements like service mesh, serverless, etc.
Payments experience is essential particularly around ISO20022 and the role will require one day a week in the office in London and will be insider IR35.
