- Description
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a number of React Engineers for a well-known and established high street retail brand.
Your new company supplies products to their customers at a lightening pace, with the customer experience at the forefront of everything that they do.
The business uses a variety of tech you will need to be willing to pick up new tools and techniques. You will be a role model for best practices, championing a customer centric mindset and a passion for finding creative ways to solve problems.
In your new role- You will build services, libraries and tools by producing clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
- Design innovative solutions to complex problems, identifying and using the best tools and approaches appropriate to the problem and solution
- Work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues to ensure the applications and services we build meet the needs of our business.
- It is expected that you will keep up with industry trends and new tools, technologies and development methods with a view to adopting best practices and coach more junior members of the team.
- React.js, Redux and Typescript
- Microservices architecture and Patterns (Strangler, pub/sub and event sourcing)
- JS libraries and Web Technologies such as React, typescript, HTML5 and CSS
- JS coding patterns and best practices (DRY, observer and builder patterns)
- Databases experience primarily MongoDB (AWS)
- Containerization, cloud deployment and IaC (K8s and Terraform)
- Familiarity with asynchronous and synchronous integration patterns – Kafka
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Automated GUI tests – Cypress
