Description

Working for a consultancy on a major programme for a global bank this contract will be on a PAYE day rate basis with all the benefits of paid holiday etc.

Working within trade finance of a global bank you will covering the full infrastructure stack including:

  • Middleware (Websphere, Tomcat, Java, Messaging, Application Server, Web server)
  • Networking (Cisco, TCP/UDP, Broadcast/Multicast, LAN/WAN, SDN)
  • Server Operating systems internals, benchmarking and performance tuning (Linux, Windows, Solaris), Server Virtulization (VMware, Xen, Hyper-V, KVM)
  • Storage (EMC SAN – FC, FCoE, iSCSI, SRDF; NetApp NAS - CIFS, NFS; Object storage)
  • Databases (Oracle & MS SQL; VCS & MSCS)
  • Cloud technologies: (Google GCP (preferably), APIs)
  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus)
  • Automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
  • Collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira)
You must have extensive tier 1 banking experience and worked on a similar role previously.
