Service Monitoring Programme Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Programme Manager to work for a consultancy client of ours with a large tier 1 bank. This role will be working as an employed consultant on a day rate PAYE and you must have extensive banking experience.

You will be working within service management and infrastructure supporting a global function to uplift critical IT services to silver level monitoring and alerting position and working on service chain mapping across the bank. You will be accountable for developing the agreed framework and project managing architects, application teams and vendors. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Shaping the direction of the Service Resilience Up-Lift strategy to align the overall stakeholder vision and objectives and drive measurable improvements
• Mapping and tracking of the Service Resilience Up-Lift strategy to ensure that all end dates are known and prepared for
• Informing, publicising and marketing of the key aspects of the Project strategy so that all stakeholders, engineering and operational staff and other relevant groups are aware of the strategy and how it will be taken forward
• Reviewing the operation and performance of the strategy and make any necessary changes or adjustments to the plans or the way they are implemented or operated
• Coordinating interfaces between the Function and other Group Function
