Monarch are working with a leading bank that are recruiting for a Kafka Infrastructure engineer to assist them initially from home, then to be based in their London HQ. The rate is £580 per day, PAYE.
They are looking for an experienced Kafka engineer who has worked within financial services previously who can implement a number of clusters for development and production in a secure on premise environment.
Some of the responsibilities include:- Provide Architectural guidance and overall design
- Work with infrastructure teams to provision VM’s, hardware etc.
- Provide a framework for application on boarding to a shared Kafka infrastructure
- Confluent and Apache Kafka deployments
- Configure and deployed high availability secure Kafka cluster at an enterprise level
- In depth knowledge of Authentication / SSL and SASL in Kafka
- Scripting for deployments
