We are looking for an experienced Kafka engineer to work for a consultancy client of ours on a long term project for a major global bank. You will have experience of implementing clusters for development and production in a secure on premise environment and be able to provide architectural guidance and overall design. We are looking for someone to provide a framework for application on-boarding to a shared Kafka infrastructure.
You will need to have worked on Kafka and Confluent deployments previously and have configured and deployed high availability secure Kafka clusters at en enterprise level. With in depth knowledge of authentication (SSL and SASL) in Kafka and scripting for deployment. Additional experience working in banking would be a distinct advantage.
