Senior MySQL DBA
Linux, Terraform, Ansible, Cassandra
Remote Based - UK
I am working in partnership with a global technology specialist who provide data based solutions to their clients.
They have created a new role for an experienced MySQL DBA to join their current team of 4. You will be responsible for managing the production environment of 40-50 live high transactional database servers of various sizes. Some tasks will include replication, backups, resolving performance issues and clustering.
The successful candidate will be an experienced MySQL DBA with some Linux administration skills (these can be at basic level). In addition to this, they are looking for automation skills in either Terraform or Ansible. Any experience in supporting AWS / Cloud technologies is advantageous.
This role is fully remote however you will be required to travel to their offices in Nottingham 1-2 days per month and travel expenses will be reimbursed.
As part of the role you will be required to be on the on-call rota 1 in 4 weeks, for which you will be paid 10% of your salary and given time and half for any call outs.
