Senior Devops Engineer - Terraform / Azure - £100K

Senior / Principal Devops Engineer         

I am working in partnership with an award winning technology company in London who are expanding parts of their business.

They have an urgent requirement for a Senior / Principal Devops Engineer. This is a key hire for the busines in which you will be responsible for leading the devops initiative, setting the devops view and approach and driving it forward. This is a greenfield area which the company are looking to expand.

You will be working closely with the Development Team, Infrastructure Team and Senior Stakeholders and be confident in discussing how solutions will be designed, deployed and delivered to customers. Initially this will be a hands on technical role moving more into a strategic role long term.

The successful candidate must have devops experience, having implemented and managed the devops strategy and have hands on technical experience, with a good devops mindset. Experience with Terraform is highly desirable as this is their platform of choice, however they will also consider someone with skills in Azure or Ansible. You will need to have some experience in IT Security and demonstrate a strong understanding of what a good solution architecture will look like. You will be able to explain and discuss complex issues with deploying solutions to clients. Experience of working with the development team is required.
