Operations and Support Engineer – Software Support - INSIDE IR35 – London/Remote

I am currently recruiting for an Operations and Support Engineer with programming and development experience on a contract for a large organisation based in London managing support requests.
Role Responsibilities:- Investigating and troubleshooting complex software/applications
- Creating support and process documentation
- Identifying issues and root causes and escalating them appropriately for a prompt resolution
- Responsible for the operational workflows and operating procedures to a highly detailed level
Skills and Experience Required:- Programming experience in Java or C++ and/or strong scripting skills
- Extensive experience of system administration and software development
- Troubleshooting complex systems and applications
- Supporting web apps in JAVA
- Strong experience using monitoring skills Splunk, Nagios and CA Wiley
- Experience with Oracle and SQL or Big Data
- Experience developing Apps on Unix/Linux platforms
