We are currently looking for an Application Support Analyst to join out financial client on a permanent basis.
This will be a hybrid role with 2 days a week remote working.
Fluent in Japanese would be highly advantageous but not essential.
You will be responsible for supporting the development teams in both production and non-production environments.
This will cover:- Communicating with Data Centre/Help Desk staff
- Analysing/finding failure to reach a root cause
- Resolving issues by liaising with development teams
- Liaising with internal and external support teams and providing explanations to their business clients.
- Managing and supporting ETL processes
- Troubleshooting ETL jobs
- Implementing solutions (Code fix, SQL scripting etc), including checking Windows Servers, Databases (SQL Server or Oracle)
- Providing system support services in non-production environments such as disaster recovery and development environments required for SDLC.
- Providing scripts for database enquiry languages, i.e., T-SQL (SQL Server) and PL/SQL (Oracle) to provide analysis and exporting data etc. based on business requirements.
