Our consultancy client are working with a major high street bank who are currently re-architecting their payments platform laying the foundation of a future proof, performant and resilient payments platform able to handle ISO20022 across all payment schemes.
We are looking for a data architect with an understanding of modern data architecture approaches such as data mesh and data streaming versus traditional methods. You will be familiar with designing solutions to maintain data guarantees/consistency in a distributed environment as well as strong data governance and control principles. You must have extensive experience of working with a modern tech stack with MongoDB and Kafka and other affiliated event driven technologies. Data mesh will be vital with experience across multiple cloud platforms ideally AWS and GCP.
This role will be inside IR35 and will need someone to be in the offices in central London one day per week. Ideally starting before the end of November this will run for at least 6 months.
