IT Manager - IT Infrastructure Manager - IT Services Manager

Monarch IT are partnered with an Automotive Engineering firm based in Coventry, who are looking for an experience IT hands on Manager, to join them on a permanent basis. Paying up to £50,000 per annum. This is a hybrid role, where you will work onsite 2-3 days per week, depending on project schedule etc. 

The role is to manage the IT support functions. The organisation is focused on helping the UK industry to develop sustainable technology dedicated to the automotive and engineering industries. You will be providing technical support across infrastructure/ network and security, manage their external suppliers of IT solutions and look after office/work from home hardware and software packages. It is an end-to-end role, ranging from developing our future IT strategy to managing outsourced services to hands-on support to staff.

Duties: 

• Support IT Infrastructure and business requirements in relating to IT - Including Network, Infrastructure and aspects of Security.
• Managing external IT suppliers.
• Drive new strategy and implementation, as well as project delivery.
• Maintain Cloud based providers a, as well as managing technical and help desk support
• Identify business improvements.
• Supporting application databases - D365, SQL, Office 365 etc

• Experience of understanding, managing and maintaining IT systems.
• Able to implement new IT systems
• IT change project management experience
• Budget and resource management capability
• Experience working within an operation led or IT administration environment
• IT or Business-related Degree and relevant post qualification experience
