Security Lead, Cyber Security Operations Lead, Security, Lead, Fixed Term Contract
Monarch are working with a large government organisation that are recruiting for a Cyber Security Operations Lead on a 2 year fixed term contract. This position is 100% remote and if you wanted to go on site, they have offices in London, Leeds or Newcastle.
This role will require you to lead and manage security operations across the organisation. You will be integral in defining and leading the SecOps Strategy.
Essential Skills and Experience:- Strong knowledge of the Information threat landscape including trends and technologies and market issues and dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of Security controls across Microsoft based technologies, Endpoints, IdAM, Networks, Applications, Email and Cloud
- Understanding of common security standards, frameworks and regulations (DSPT, ISO2700x, GDPR, CAF, MITRE, ITIL)
- Experience in post incident reviews
- Exceptional ability to communicate and explain complex technical issues in clear, concise, persuasive language both verbally and in writing
Qualifications- Microsoft Security and Azure Qualifications (not essential, but desired)
