Monarch IT are working with a central government client who is looking for a 3 Senior Data Protection/ Data Security Specialists on a 6 month contract - £550 - £600 per day Inside IR35. You can work in either London, Manchester or Bristol depending on your location, this will be 1/2 days per week.
The project you'll be working on has already started on a trial and an alpha stage of development. In order to support the extensive data privacy, data security and assurance requirements to build DI that users will trust with their special category personal data, the Digital Identity team needs an interim specialist to work to implement the Privacy by Design principles from the alpha stage of development.
Job role:- Provide expert advice on all matters relating to privacy and information assurance to Digital Identity to develop alpha and beta products.
- Design and implement data privacy controls and a data assurance plan for Digital Identity alpha and beta for PECR, DPA 2018 and UK GDPR compliance.
- Support the component set up for Digital identity by risk assessing products and tools required for authentication, identity, fraud prevention.
- Identifying relevant Government legal gateways for more effective and lawful utilisation of data across Departments to develop alpha and beta versions of Digital Identity.
- Register and manage data privacy and assurance issues and risks that relate to Digital Identity.
- Responsibility for the completion of Art 30 Data Processing Records from across the Digital Identity teams. Undertaking review and issuing Privacy findings related to Data Protection Impact Assessments for alpha and beta products.
- Support Digital Identity engagement activity involving key stakeholders to test stakeholder expectation to build their trust and improve user take up of the early prototype.
- Undertake contractual review of products and tools required for digital identity alpha and beta implementation for privacy and data protection with procurement for compliance.
- Contribute to handling and management of incidents that have resulted in data breach.
