Our consultancy client are looking for an experienced Unix/Linux Technical Team Lead to work on a client project. You will have a high level of technical knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems at an enterprise level, coupled with experience of leading and managing a group of engineers to deliver BAU services and support to the customer.
You will have extensive experience with the following: RHEL (all versions), HP-UX (including agile hardware addressing), SLES Linux, Solaris (all versions), CentOS (all versions), LDAP/BIND/Ignite Administration and a good understanding of network services, storage, virtualisation, identity and access management within a unix environment. You should be able to create and develop shell scripts and have the ability to troubleshoot complex, technical, multi-site and multi-disciplinary problems and incidents.
This is a "hands-on" technical escalation and team lead position that requires senior level knowledge on relevant technologies and operating systems. The role is expected to provide technical leadership and guidance to the team on a daily basis, ensuring that workflow a customer expectation is managed at all times.
This role will be inside IR35 and remote working
