Our consultancy client are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA lead to work with a client you will have a high level of technical knowledge of Oracle Database technologies at an enterprise level, coupled with experience of leading and managing a group of DBA’s to deliver BAU services and support to the customer.
You will need experience of leading a technical team and carrying out management tasks and demonstrable experience of configuration, administration, troubleshooting and tuning of components of the database technology stack with experience of installation and upgrade of Oracle Database technologies. Experience of backup and recovery using Oracle’s RMAN utility and experience with Oracle RAC/ASM and Oracle DataGuard architecture, including performance analysis and CRS administration. With patching experience on single node and RAC environments you will need experience of Oracle SQL Advisor, ADDM and AWR tools and of enhancing and maintaining Oracle Grid Control and Cloud Control would be beneficial.
