Senior/ Lead Web Developer

Monarch IT have just started working with a consultancy firm based in the West Midlands. They are looking for a Senior/ Lead Web Developer on a permanent basis, paying up to £65,000 per annum. This role is 100% remote. 


You will be directly working with one of our clients sister companies, where you will lead the web development team, as well as helping and supporting the junior developers. You will be responsible in planning and implementing new web applications, as well as maintaining and updating any existing applications in their software suite. You will need to have an in-depth knowledge of high level programming, as well as having prior experience leading or managing small or large teams of developers.


Responsibilities:

• Liaising between Development managers to discuss current and upcoming projects
• Manage project timelines/ pipelines
• Working closely with developers to achieve project requirements
• Training the team/ staff on software
• Designing and implementing new applications within existing software
• Manage junior developers 
• Run functionality testing and debugging code

• HTML/ CSS
• Javascript frameworks - Angular/ React JS/ Stimulus
• Mockup and UI Prototyping tools
• Understanding around best security practices inline with app/web development
• Ideally experience with Ruby on Rails
