Monarch are working with a large government organisation that are recruiting for a Content Architect to assist them on an initial 6 month contract. The position falls outside IR35 and will be initially from home with a couple of days on site in either London, Bristol or Manchester.
You will be working with content strategists, product teams and technical teams to implement structured content that is organised and stored so that it can be delivered to users on different devices, platforms or channels.
Some of the experience and responsibilities include:- Significant experience of building taxonomies, terminology databases, thesauri or ontologies
- Expert knowledge of information science or library science
- Ability to interpret organisational and user needs. Developing and implementing backend content strategies for large scale content operations, ideally including experience of structured content, channel agnostic and/or personalised content
- Proven ability to define content models and/or schemata for complex publishing ecosystems and use cases, such as platform migration, personalisation, multi-channel, localisation
- Familiarity with metadata standards such as Open Graph, Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA), RDF based semantics (OWL)
- Experience of developing core architectural deliverables including sitemaps, users flows, navigational flows and data visualisation
- Experience of explaining content architecture to non-technical audience
