Security Architect

Monarch IT are working with a public sector client based in London/ Midlands. I am looking to recruit an experience Security Architect who holds SC Clearance for a duration of 6 months. This vacancy is paying up to £625 per day - Outside IR35.


The successful applicant will be leading the design and modelling of security architecture for the future and current capabilities to identify areas for improvement. You will lead the identification, development and management of security architecture principles and policies, ensuring design, development, implementation and operating boundaries. You will also be tasked to communicate baseline security requirements to ensure consistency within design. 


Requirements:

• SME within Security and various toolsets and tech stacks - Working knowledge on integration, config and data needs.
• Certified CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC or CCISO
• Relevant Security Architectural experience
• Understanding on NIST, SABSA, TOGAF frameworks
• Experience of IT health Checks and providing scope of works and analysts of ITHC
• Experience negotiating with various internal and external stakeholders
• Leading and making pragmatic decisions that affect long term delivery, whilst taking into consideration risk. 
• Able to articulate complex issues within security and project matters
• Strong, credible impact, with a demonstrated capability to resolve conflict; build, maintain and utilise relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimum business goals.
• Strong working knowledge on ISO27001 etc + Cyber Essentials, as well as ISMS
• Experience delivering concepts including analysts, design, implementation and testing.
