Monarch IT are working with a public sector client based in Cardiff, who are looking to appoint an expert in all things Cyber Policy, threat detection, compliance, and security incident management. This role is contract, inside IR35, paying up to £550 per day. The vacancy is full time, Monday to Friday and will run for the next 6 months.
Our client is looking for a mixture between a Consultant and Lead/ Manager, to help understand industry best practice and policy reviews, but to also provide expert knowledge around the key fundamentals of Security.
The ideal applicant will have experience in the following:- Leading policy reviews, security best standards and practice
- Strong background with hands on support within Security and Assurance
- Background in Networks and Firewalls (Switches, Routers, VPNs etc)
- Industry experience working with Servers and Storage (on-prem/ cloud)
- Proactive using SIEM tools to provide analysis on Security threats
- SSCP, CISM, CISSP
- University Degree - Comp Sci, Cyber Security etc
