I am working with one of the most established entertainment and multimedia organisations in the world, who are now expanding within their design department. They are recruiting for a Graphic Designer for the next 12 months, working from home, as well as travelling occasionally into London. This may become permanent at the end of the contract.
Overview:
The role itself will encompass handling design assignments specific to Graphic Design Kits, retail tool kits and in store retail environments. You will create core design solutions, and present relevant content to support the companies properties. As you're working in design, you will be working closely to tight deadlines set by the company, as well as taking design briefs to implement. Art style/ formatting is very important for brand continuity, so if you have a wealth of experience working on a range of multimedia projects with various clients, this will be beneficial.
As a apart of the role, you will work closely and liaise with product development teams to produce fresh, creative and new designs. You will also need to already have a strong understanding of technical aspects of construction of products and components in relation to retail spaces and POP.
The successful applicant will already have experience working within a very similar environment.
What they need you to have:- You will need to have a strong understand of graphic design trends as related to licensed product
- Exoerience of designing of balanced graphic elements (Colour, Icon Size etc) which is needed to develop graphic design kits, retail tool kits and in store environments.
- Translate the companies storytelling into design and graphic application whilst maintaining integrity of the company.
- Will be need a background in conducting graphic design trend research, as well as having a strong understanding of the marketplace and business.
