Cyber Security Specialist

Have you ever fancied working with a Global Sporting Brand? This could be your chance... Monarch IT have partnered with a leading football brand to build and develop their internal security functions. Location: Remote - Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum. 

With all the infrastructure in place, the brand is now looking to drive forward their security practices. You will be the main point of contact for all security related queries and enquiries, including incident response management and resolution, vulnerability scanning around firewalls, networking, servers, endpoint security, o365 and the Azure cloud platform. Management of email security around phishing, malware and Shadow IT. Further aspects around the role will include monitoring logs, keeping up to date with CVE's and emerging cyber threats, as well as advising and assisting with cyber related training and advice on best practices.

As you are the single point of contact for security queries, you can really start building up their practices from the bottom up. As they continue to grow, so will you. Coming in at analyst level, you could expect to (if you ever) walk away being a true SME within Security. You’ll work very closely with the Head of IT and infrastructure support team to navigate projects and growth including the Iso270001 framework implementation.
 
Essential requirements:

• CISSP/ SSCP Certification
• Must have experience working with; IAM, SIEM, Endpoint Security, o365, Azure and Cisco Network/ VPN and firewalls.
• Strong understanding around SIEM tools
• Good knowledge on GDPR and best practices
• Exposure to working on vulnerability scanning and mitigation of risk
• Internal/ external audit support experience
