Senior Project Manager

Monarch IT have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with a large government organisation within the senior project manager. This role will fall inside IR35 and will based fully on site for 6 months.  

Takes responsibility for the definition; documentation and safe execution of a single major project or a number of smaller initiatives; actively participating in all phases of the project. Identifies; assesses and manages risks to the success of the project


Essential experience required:

• Significant proven track record in delivering projects of successful large scale and complex IT projects with an element of business change

• Significant experience in leading project management and delivery.

• Expert knowledge of project management principles, methods, techniques, tools and emerging trends.

• Significant experience in management of customer expectations, senior stakeholders and developing strong relationships across the business.

• Proven track record in managing staff performance/under performance and developing hig performing staff and teams

• Proven track record in supplier management and commercial acumen

• Knowledge and experience of applying a range of delivery/ development life cycles, e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Iterative
