IT Field Engineer

Monarch IT are currently working with one of the largest suppliers of fresh produce in the food industry. They are looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Engineer based in their Birmingham office. Salary: £30,000 - £35,000. 

This role covers many aspects around infrastructure support. You will be working mainly out of the Birmingham head office being responsible for the availability and performance of the groups IT systems, covering servers, switches and telecoms. The role will be responsible for problem resolution and proactive maintenance of infrastructure equipment. The client works across many remote sites in the UK, so they will require you to be flexible to travel to other locations where necessary, as well as being on call over evenings and weekends (rota based)

Responsibilities of the role:
- Ticket resolutions 2/3rd line support duties
- Deploy IT Equipment
- Manage the Windows Server and Active Directory
- Managing virtualisation technologies like Hyper-V and VMWare
- Responsible for network management including switches and wireless config
- Application support (Dynamics NAvision, Office 2019)
- Implement documentation on systems and services.

- Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 admin
- VMWare & Hyper-V Virtualisation Tech
- AD Management and GPO Admin
- Microsoft Exchange 2016
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008
- Cisco Network tech
- Sharepoint admin
- Backup and DR Solutions
