Monarch IT are working with a large retail organisation for a range of roles within Information Security. They are looking to recruit a Lead Security Product Assurance Consultant, on a remote basis, full time at a salary of: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum.
This role is stakeholder facing, and non technical where you'll be working directly with stakeholders and other IT departments. You will be working in a flexible, agile manner within the engineering teams. As a Lead Security Product Assurance Consultant, you'll be ensuring security is built in by design, products are delivered securely with client and employee data is protected.
The role will be working closely with the security testing team to ensure Ethical Hacking, Code Reviews, Application Scanning and Infrastructure Scanning is conducted. A very important part of this role is providing end to end assurance for all IT projects across the group, throughout the lifescycle. You will be looking at area's around projects and products that can be improved. It's very important that you have the real drive and motivation to work independently without supervision, taking on work that is interesting to you and important for the organisation. You will be leading a small team with initiative and a clear goal in mind.
This client works with new and upcoming, bleeding edge technology, so there is more than enough for you to get stuck into and up-skill yourself on. You will be the main point of contact for security related matters within product assurance, so strong communication and collaborative skills are very important.
You will need:- Strong stakeholder management skills
- SANS/ ISC2/ ISACA/ Comp Sci qualifications are ideal
- Ability to challenge anything that is incorrect/ you have a different view point on
- Strong InfoSec background
- Attention to detail
- Experience within Product Assurance/ working with a multitude of IT products
