IT Security Engineer

Monarch IT are working on behalf of one of the largest UK retailers, recruiting for a number of vacancies within Cyber Security. You will be working on a permanent basis, fully remote, with occasional travel to the office. Salary - £42,000/ £45,000 per annum.

The organisation I am working with have recently gone through an anti-malware transformation project to MS Defender, and are looking for individuals to come in with existing experience with MS Defender to support the goal of enhancing speed, flexibility and efficiency of their applications. You will be working closely with the product team to help configure Security policies to deliver on their Product roadmap on endpoints, as well as within the Security Operations Centre to ensure IT projects are delivered securely.

Working as a Security Engineer, you will be part of an agile delivery team, meaning previous hands on experience within a project environment is very important, to be a part of providing and carrying out cloud implementation and development. You will be tasked on developing Information Security policies standards, procedures and guidelines that need to be refined within toolsets.
