Java Developer, Senior, Lead, Software Engineer, Micro-services
We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer/Engineer Lead to join our client on an initial 6 month contract.
This role will require you to work through an Umbrella Solution.
Location: Mixture of Client site in London and remote
As the Senior Software Engineer you will have a proven experience in delivering a Micro-service Architecture.
Key Skills and experiences required:- Build software in a consistent way using frameworks, patterns and proven industry practices
- Build applications which scale, are highly available, low latency and perform under load
- Actively work using Agile practices
- Push for continuous integration and delivery, using devops tooling and test automation
- Understand the full RTL and lifecycle – contributing at each stage
Skills Required- Java
- Springboot
- Maven
- GitHub Enterprise
- Jenkins/pipeline and basic admin
- JSON/SOAP/XML/XSD
- Kafka
- WMQ
- REST
- Database SQL – Structured Query Language
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes – sufficient to debug and deliver working code with the necessary configuration in place
- Cloud experience deploying and maintaining applications in ICP/GCP/AWS or similar
