We are currently looking for a Front End Developer to join our client. This role will initially be remote but once able to return to site can be based in either London, Bristol or Manchester.
IR35 Status: Inside IR35 - You will need to work through an Umbrella Solution
You will be joining a team who are responsible for the digital transformation within this government body, ensuring high quality code is being delivered.
Key Skills:- Experience in front end development, with detailed knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with the Ruby on Rails framework and a reasonable understanding of the Ruby programming language
- Understanding of software design principles, including progressive enhancement
- Experience in building robust and accessible interfaces that work for as many users as possible, regardless of their needs
- Understanding of agile environments and version control
- Basic understanding about web security
- An awareness of technologies used for web applications, e.g. HTTPS, JSON and CDNs, and of Unix-like operating systems e.g. Linux and/or Mac OS
