We have an exciting vacancy come available within a large global organisation based in Birmingham City Centre on a permanent basis.

Location: Birmingham City Centre

As the Java Developer we are looking for the following skills and experiences:

  • Solid knowledge of Java 8/11 , design patterns and algorithmic foundations
  • 3- 5 years of working experience in Java-based technologies and toolkits
  • Commercial experience in a complex environment
Exposure to one or more of the following:
  • Distributed systems
  • NoSQL and relational databases
  • Distributed messaging
  • Transactions services
  • Expertise in React JS, HTML5, Java
  • Experience integrating with Restful web services
Preferred Technical Experience
  • Kafka
  • Elasticsearch
  • Distributed caching
  • noSQL datastores such as MongoDB
  • Spring Batch
