Description

ETL, Developer, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Engineer

We are currently looking for an ETL expert to join our client on a long term contract.

As the ETL Engineer you will assist and assess the impact of a number of upgrades in SPARK, RHEL, Hadoop and HIVE.

Key tasks you will be performing:

  • Requirement Analysis and creating design documents
  • Performing ETL Operations (some are using Hive)
  • Hands on expereincein hive HQL and Beeline Script
  • Unix Shell Scripting
Key Skills:
  • Experience with Hadoop, Beeline/Hive, Spark, Unix, SQL, PL/SQL, Python development
  • Experience with Hadoop data presentation and automation scripts
  • Knowledge of Beeline and HIVE
  • Any experience/knowledge with financial and financial crime data would be highly desirable
