I am working in partnership with a software house who have just brought new offices in Central London. They create complex algorithm driven solutions using the Microsoft tech stack.

Due to expansion, they are seeking an experienced Senior / Lead SQL Database Developer who will have a dual role of providing the strategic vision for the database estate and leading a small team of 2, whilst undertaking some high level database development work. This is a crucial role in the company as you will be setting the vision for the next 3-5 years whilst also evaluating the data and cloud strategy, and standardising coding practices. You will be working with the wider business to understand their data project needs and how the team can best support them.  

The successful candidate must have commercial SQL Server development experience in 2017 and 2019, designing databases and creating entity relationships, developing datawarehouses, and completing data migration tasks using ETL and SQL. Experience with GIT and Visual Studio is required. Any experience with Azure or C# is desirable but not essential.

The role will be 3 days working from home with 1-2 days in the office.
