Java Developer, Microservices, Spring, Hibernate, Jenkins, Webservices, Agile

We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a Financial Services client on a long term contract. You will help to design and build new features based on the back of teh stories that wilol be provided.

This role will be working through a PAYE model
Location: Remote

  • Strong Java/J2EE server side experience. Delivered highly scalable performant service layers with RESTFul Webservices.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java 8, spring, Spring Boot,  Hibernate JPA, Jenkins, Ansible and Microservices.
  • Strong experience in working with Oracle; Ant build, Maven, continuous integration
  • Agile Scrum & Devops evangelist, champion and coach. Hands on experience with Selenium and Cucumber
  • Experience in all phases in the Development Life Cycle, from design and build to maintenance
  • Good knowledge of Java design patterns and anti patterns
  • Experience as a Scrum Master and familiarity with Pragmatic / lean / agile development techniques
