Full Stack Technical Lead

Location: Remote initially but can be based anywhere in UK (ideally London)

Contract Length: 12 months

Day rate: £545 – PAYE, please ask for more information on this

Monarch are working with a leading financial organisation who are looking someone to work with the broader team of developers helping define the technology vision, define the standards against which the team work, and push the boundaries of how the team design, develop, test and release against the various HTML5 and Java (server side) components. This role is a great opportunity for the right person to join a growing team throughout 2021, you will need experience in the below to be successful:

• Lead development teams and liaise with nominated business stakeholders when required to ensure that business requirements are fully understood before commencing design and development.
• Demonstrable experience of Continuous Delivery software development methods, including Test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing (including non-functional testing).
• Java server side development experience is essential.
• HTML, Javascript, CSS knowledge is essential for this role
• The successful candidate Is likely to have worked with these technologies as a minimum:
• Java 11, Maven, ReactJS, RequireJS, gulp, grunt, less
• Experience of SQL and relational databases is advantageous
• Experience of working in unix environments is essential.
• Experience of REST services is advantageous.
• Experience of working with GCP or other cloud providers is advantageous.
