Senior SQL Server DBA
SQL Server, Azure, AWS, Operations
up to £60K + bonus + shares
I am working in partnership with a global solutions provider who are building a new office in Reading and are looking to fill multiple roles.
One of the key hires they are looking to make is a Senior DBA with strong skills in SQL Server to join the Infrastructure Team.
The role will involve managing around 160 internal and customer databases, ranging from 2GB to 150GB in size, driving the performance, delivery, scalability and security of them. You will be undertaking operational activities on the databases which are a mix of single and multi tenancy.
The successful candidate must have strong SQL Server DBA experience up to V2019. As they are moving most of their databases towards a multi-tenancy environment, experience within this is needed. It is essential you have supported high transactional databases. Any experience with Azure or AWS is highly beneficial.
The role will require being on an on-call rota, 1 week in 4.
The role is currently remote based and they are happy to consider candidates who want to be fully remote based.
