Description: Monarch are working with a leading data and research company based in Surrey that are urgently recruiting for a Network Engineer to assist them on an initial 6 month contract.

They require an experienced network engineer who will be able to hit the ground running. Some of the responsibilities in this position include:

• Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades
• Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems
• Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths
• Develop and implement solutions for network problems
• Reviewing and resolving incidents or requests for change from employees which come into the team as tickets.

The skills and experience required:

• Network/systems administration/related work experience required
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
• Knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage
• Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software
