Monarch are working with a leading global financial organisation based in Dublin, that are recruiting for a Senior Systems Platform Architect to assist them on a 12-24 month contract.
Ideally you will be a problem solver and as a result help this organisation plan and design a footprint for their systems and lead them to implement best practices.
Some of the day to day responsibilities include:- Day to day meetings
- Gather requirements
- Discuss them with the customers
- Define requirements
- Analyse the requirements
- Product a design on how the application would adhere and how it would look in the companies infrastructure
- Present the design and agree with the customer
- Build or hand over to build to web platform engineer
- Excellent knowledge in web application infrastructure
- Experience in solution architecture
- Knowledge of Internet architecture and project delivery
- Experience working with middleware technologies (Web Servers, Application Servers, Queue Managers, Messaging, Caching)
- Knowledge of load balancers and web application firewalls
- Knowledge of network and operating system principles
