I am working in partnership with a pioneering company who have an unrivalled reputation for working with all the latest technologies.

They are in the process of re-establishing their UK hosting team, and a have requirement for an IT Monitoring Specialist who can drive best practice in how solutions are monitored.

This is a key role within the operations team, whereby you will be promoting best practice around monitoring and event management of solutions whilst also advising on how new solutions should be deployed both regionally and globally. You will be also be driving continual service improvement and looking at news ways of working and how monitoring tools can be best used. The main focus for the next 12-18 months will be to recommend improvements on alerts, incidents and events and how to drive down the volume of these.

The successful candidate will have a technical background having worked within an operational environment, with recent experience in practice management and continual improvement. It is essential you have used ServiceNow and can demonstrate how it can be used to manage events and alerts. In addition to this, you will have experience of using different monitoring tools, ideally Solarwinds, and have knowledge of how they interface with other solutions. 


Whilst this role is based in one of their newly refurbished offices, you will be able to work remotely 2-3 days per week and they have flexible working hours.
