I am working in partnership with a successful company who have continued to expand over the years. They have a new requirement for an experienced Business Intelligence Project Manager to join the BI team.

 
This role will involve managing a range of BI development and data projects within workstreams, whilst also managing a team of up to 10 people, a mix of BI developers and analysts. One of the current projects you will be involved in is the migration of the on-premise SQL Server datawarehouses into Azure. You will be working closely with other departmental heads and stakeholders. You will also be instrumental in introducing new technologies into the team such as Kafka and EventHub.


The successful candidate must have business intelligence / data experience using the Microsoft SQL Server stack, and demonstrate a good understanding of BI principles and datawarehouses. Ideally you will have some knowledge of datalake, databricks or datafactory. In addition to the technical experience, they are looking for someone who has excellent full end to end project management experience, with experience of working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You will need to have team management experience and strong stakeholder management skills.
