I am working in partnership with an award-winning company that is driven by technology. Whilst they have the feel of a start-up company, this area of the business is part of a bigger and well-established company, who are the front leaders within their industry.

 

They have a new requirement for an experienced Python Development Team Lead to join their innovative team. The role will involve 50% hands-on development of their core applications using a mix of technologies including Python, Django, React, Typescript, and Redux. The other 50% of your time will be spent managing and developing junior developers, undertaking 1-2-1s, training, and developing career development plans. As part of this role, you will also be liaising with senior stakeholders across the business.

 

The successful candidate must have commercial leadership experience, having previously mentored or led junior developers. It is essential you have strong Python and Django development experience, combined with skills in front end development using React and Typescript and have developed Rest APIs.
