Senior QA Engineer (Inside IR35)

Monarch are working with a leading global brand that are recruiting for an experienced Senior QA engineer on an initial 8 month contract inside IR35. 

The role will be home based until further notice and then will be in Central London. 

You will be working with a brand new team of specialist engineers, working with new platforms and delivering best practices. The role is split into 50% automation and 50% manual testing before eventually going 100% automation. 

Some of the responsibilities: 
• Develop and execute automated and performance testing for assigned projects to successfully and consistently enable the delivery of high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specification.
• Work with existing Senior QA and Development teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards.
• Work with QA/Testing staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts to plan and execute automated and performance tests.

The technical skills required for this position include: 

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC 
• Experience with Java 
• Experience with Jira 
• Experience with Cucumber 
• Have worked in an Agile development team 
• Proven experience with BDD 
• If you have a financial background that would highly advantageous.
